Situated Urban Research is the ongoing collaborative project of urban theorist John Bingham Hall & photographer Lucinda Chua.

Through a creative yet critical investigative research process, S.U.RE aims to uncover urban practises emerging in various cities across the world.

S.U.RE's debut project took place in October 2011 with a residency in Detroit's Cave Gallery and a Guest Editorship for Wallpaper*
